THANK YOU NOTE FROM AMY TEDDER
To ALL of Region 7 – USAG
First, thank you so much for voting me the SPIRIT of 7 Athlete for 2006! Last year I felt like anything BUT an athlete, so this award has a real special meaning to it. You all believed in me and with your endless love, support and encouragement made my fight with cancer a little easier. I never knew that our gymnastics community was so closely knit. I love being a part of THIS family! I plan to continue in the sport in some way – coaching/judging. Now that my competitive gymnastics is over, I will hold dear this special last award.
Second, I want to thank every club, coach, gymnast, parent & judge for all of the gifts, flowers, cards and prayers. You have been unbelievable and certainly played a huge part in my recovery. I wish I could thank you each in person. I do hope to see you at meets in the future.
